Elumen was founded in 2025, when a G4-class geomagnetic storm pushed the aurora far south of its usual range, into skies that go a generation without it.
An aurora is invisible force made visible: charged wind meeting a magnetic field, unseen until the sky renders it. Elumen does the same work — the forces running through an organization's communication are just as real and just as unseen, until the instrument makes them readable.
The brand carries that sky. The palette follows the aurora's real distribution: the green oxygen curtain dominant, teal and cyan beneath it, violet as the thin high-altitude fringe, magenta the rare flare at the edge of visibility. Illumination, in its actual proportions.

Before Elumen, Allan spent fifteen years leading product, design, and innovation teams across the US, Japan, Germany, and France, most recently running a 150-person global innovation organization inside a Japanese multinational. The pattern that followed him everywhere: when things broke, it was rarely the technology — it was people talking past each other. He became the person organizations relied on to read those dynamics and restore clarity. Elumen is that reading, built into an instrument.
